Hornsea is a wonderful English seaside resort on the North Sea coast between Hull and Bridlington; with its Blue Flag clean beach, Yorkshire’s largest freshwater lake and Victorian arcades. Once well known for its world famous local pottery, Hornsea Pottery, the town is home to the UK’s first factory outlet shopping village at Hornsea Freeport.
Hornsea Freeport outlet centre is situated just to the south of the town close to Hornsea Mere. It hosts over 30 factory outlet stores each offering discounts of up to 50% off recommended retail prices. Fashion brands include Roman Originals, Urban and Klass; as well as specialist stores The Prom Collection and The Wedding Clearance Collection for fashion for a special day. Outdoor brands at discount prices include Crag Hoppers, Regatta and Tog 24.
With attractive landscaped grounds, plenty of areas to sit and relax, a regular programme of events and entertainment, as well as the Neptune’s Kingdom children’s play centre and climbing wall; Hornsea Freeport combines a pleasant visit with great bargain hunting.
The outlet village also has a two good food outlets - the LP4 family restaurant and coffee shop with hearty all day breakfasts, warming lunches, a wide selection of sandwiches, paninis, pastries and cakes and the Williams Farm Kitchen with its home cooked food from local produce including baking all their own cakes and scones, with a choice of at least 10 cakes on most days.
